Official Launch of Higher Ed Not Debt
March 6, 9:15am-10:45am, Washington D.C.

Please join us, along with Senator Elizabeth Warren and President of the American Federation of Teachers, Randi Weingarten, for the launch of Higher Ed Not Debt, a new, multi-year campaign to address the twin issues of education debt and college affordability. For those of you who can’t be in D.C., we will also host a livestream on this page so you may participate in the kickoff event.

With student debt reaching over $1 trillion and college tuition continuing to skyrocket, dozens of organizations representing students, youth, labor, veterans and policy organizations are coming together to unite their efforts to tackle what has become a student debt crisis in America.

Senator Warren will key note the event and will be followed by remarks from President Weingarten and a panel that will explore the existing work and new organizing opportunities around higher education debt on both the state and national level.
