Higher Ed Not Debt encourages members to host forums and Teach-ins to educate your members & the public on the issue of Student Debt. Options include: Hosting a forum with a current student struggling with debt, a local community leader or an academic to talk about the way debt is crushing our country.

Your teach-in will be part of a huge action around the country, organized by people like you—passionate folks who care about education and want to make a difference in their communities. By organizing a teach-in, you’re part of a long legacy that goes back to the civil rights movement. At your teach-in, you’ll get together to discuss the crisis in your community, learn more about the student debt crisis and why it exists, and meet others who want to do something about it.
