Report: College Information Design and Delivery

Our partners at Young Invincibles have released a new report on how to design and deliver college and financial information. Nearly half of all federal financial aid recipients either received inaccurate information about their aid or did not remember receiving any information.

From Young Invincibles’ Policy Director Jennifer C. Wang:

“We found that low income and individuals with lower educational attainment spend less time researching their educational options. Young people from the lowest income households (the first quartile of income) are roughly half as likely to research their borrowing and credit options than people from the highest income households (4th quartile and top five percent). Young people from the lowest income households are almost three times as likely as young people from high-income households to say they conducted almost no research on borrowing and credit.”
